Happy New Year

2011 is coming. To welcome a whole new world, I went to 品田牧場 with my friends to have dinner.

It's so delicious and it's not expensive. All of us can try it. After dinner, we went to 一中street to buy something. But it was too crowded to walk along, we gave up to go inside.

We decided to go to 勤美 to count down, I thought it was be fun. We took many pictures there, because we didn't see each other for a long time. What a coincidence! I met my college friend with her friends. Hahahahaa... After I met her, it's time to count down. 5 4 3 2 1 Happy New Year! Then,we couldn't see beautiful firework, it was coverd by a  high building. God, we were so disappointed, but it's ok, I should be happy more to face the new year.

Finally, we went to Tiger City to see a movie. It's 2 a.m. Though we were very tired, we still saw that movie. The movie's name is Burlesque. Cher and Christina Aguilera play the leading role. They are pretty and their voices are amazing. After seeing the movie, we went back to sleep.

Go Taipei

Last weekend, Amy and Iwent to Taipei to visit my aunt.(Amy is my mother.) My aunt is living in an apartment which is very beautiful and sweet. After we ate lunch in her home, we went to Taipei International Flora Exposition to wait my sister, Kelly. Because she has a part-time job there. Before she was off work, Amy and I went to 爭艷館 and 流行館.

爭艷館 has many real flowers and this topic is X'mas. It was full of Christmas' atmosphere. All of the decorations were amazing. But I don't like that we have to wait in line over one hour. I was very tired.

流行館 is made of plastic bottles. It looked very fasion. There is many beautiful clothes with flowers. We only visited two parts of  Taipei International Flora Exposition. 
Next day, Amy and I went back home by train. When we stopped in 樹林, the train was broken.

 We waited for a minutes but it still didn't work. The Captain of the train asked us to get off the train to wait another train. I was not angry but felt exciting. It was my first time to meet this situation. Hahaha. Another things happened, when we arrived home, we didn't find our key. Yes! We forgot to bring it out,so we waited outside until the locksmith to help us. It was a special and unforgetable experience for me.

My Freshmen International Perspectives Camp in FCU

June 15th～16th 2009, I joined the 2009 FCU Freshmen International Perspectives Camp. It was so much fun because we had foreigners here. I was in the Group 10 and our name was “team X”. When I arrived at FUC,I thought it was a small campus but there was a beautiful place which named “學思樓”.It was built recent years. 

Every group had four assistants just like our leaders. They were Jack Alumi Samantha and Vickie( Her English was good. She was a senior high student. ) The last two people serve as our group’s interpreters. 
When foreigners came, I was so excited.
Our menbers were Jill, Vicky, Sandra, Trista, Chih Hsin, Jumbo, Yi Ju, Hsin En, Mc Kenna, Logan and Maddison, we’re teamX. 
My first class was Afternoon Tea – Homemade Desserts. Iwas in group2 and we had a foreigner who named Rory. He was tall and strong. I felt he looked like Edward’s brother “Emett” in Twilight. Second class was Unmanned flight navigation simulation. The flights were cool. Third class was Dance Medley. When it was over, I felt very tired. But it was fun. In the evening, we went to Feng Chia night market to eat dinner. In the night, before we slept, foreigners played a game with us (for girls' room). It was liked “chocolate chocolate plus milk” in Taiwan .

Next day, we took pictures to make a certificate of completion. And it was their (foreigners) turn to perform the show. Actually they were the members of Morningstar Youth Performing Ensemble (USA). They have performanced in Taiwan for two weeks. Their performance was marvelous. They also taught us how to sing and dance.The last time was for every groups to perform. Mc Kenna, Logan, Maddison taught us a song and a dance.

【pop it, lock it, polka dot it, countrified it, hit hop it, put your hawk in the sky, move side to side, jump to the left, stitch it glide.】
We taught them how to say 哩甲霸阿妹(台語) and how to dance and sing. 
Finally,we won the championship. So fun so good. Logan was a handsome boy. Both Mc Kenna and Maddison were beautiful girls. I hope I have a opportunity to go to California to visit them. I will never forget this time to play with so many foreigners. This was a unforgettable memory.

By the way,their performance name is “BROADWAY USA ”.
